Competition is growing in the county that holds about 85.2% of Leander. Williamson County counts 213 residential remodelers (up 69%), 266 plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractors (up 38.5%), 194 electrical contractors (up 32%) and 176 landscaping services (up 32.3%), and 2,578 ad-heavy businesses overall, 84.1% of them small.
