Get results in days, not monthsResults in days, not monthsUniversity Park and Huntsville are both Texas cities, but a business buying ads in one is in a very different position from a business buying them in the other. The county around University Park is among the most crowded in this guide for ad-heavy trades. Around Huntsville it is among the thinnest. Across the set, 59 cities have a median household income under $60,000 and 56 are above $100,000, so no single budget fits.
GetPhound manages Google, Bing and Meta ads for small businesses at a flat monthly fee. Every Texas city in this guide has a profile built for advertisers: how packed the bidding is, who lives there and how a campaign should respond.
The shape of the set
91 of the 203 cities have fewer than 30,000 residents, and 38 have grown by 15% or more since 2020, so a lot of Texas advertising is local, small and changing fast. 26 cities are at least 40% Spanish-speaking at home. The fastest growers are Liberty Hill (+185.5%), Celina (+156.7%), Fulshear (+156.1%), Magnolia (+119.9%), Royse City (+78.4%).
Fast growth tends to mean new streets, new neighborhoods and shoppers who do not have a regular provider yet. Ads can reach those people the moment they start searching, as long as targeting follows the real shape of the place and not the city limits.
Regional view
We grouped cities by county into regions. Every row is the median city of the region, so one outlier cannot dominate it.

Who else is buying
For each of twelve trades that commonly advertise locally, we measured employer locations per resident in every Texas county in the set and compared them with the median U.S. county. Anything above 1.0x means more businesses per resident than usual.

Customers and schedules
Higher-income cities include Southlake ($250,000 or more), University Park ($250,000 or more), West University Place ($250,000 or more), Highland Park ($249,923), Bellaire ($215,636). Those are places where a customer can be worth more, and where competition for the first click is usually steeper. In lower-income cities, ads often work best with plain pricing, a visible phone number and a small, clear service area.
Remote work is highest in Lakeway (39.7%), Prosper (31.9%), Frisco (29.5%), Southlake (28.6%), so daytime clicks matter there. Long commutes are most common in Fulshear (43%), Canyon Lake (41.2%), Manvel (39.5%), Magnolia (38.8%), where calls and forms tend to arrive after the drive home. We never quote lead prices, since they depend on trade, offer and competition.
Ranking
The City Ad Competition Index runs from 0 to 100. A higher number means more ad-heavy businesses per resident around the city and wealthier customers, which usually calls for narrower targeting and better landing pages.

What we charge
The fee is flat, billed monthly, and depends only on how many platforms we run. No contract applies. Money for clicks is a separate budget that Google, Bing or Meta collect from you. Above $10K a month in ad spend? Let us talk first.
FAQ
Every city is its own local auction, with different competition, incomes and routines. A city page shows those numbers and what a campaign would do with them.
Work backward from your numbers: what a customer is worth, how many leads close and how many customers you need. The break-even calculator on each city page runs the math.
Some campaigns generate calls on day one; others take a few weeks to find their footing, particularly in busy trades. We make no promises on lead counts.
No. You pay month to month and can stop whenever you like.
Yes, as a separate plan. Our Texas SEO guide covers organic search city by city.
